EUMA ends homelessness in NWPA by making it rare, brief, and one-time, as Jesus would.
We do this through six different programs following a housing first concept and scattered site model.
-
a 32-bed emergency shelter for homeless families with children
-
a 10-bed transitional shelter and program for homeless Veteran men
-
a community effort to provide safe and warm overnight shelter to men and women who are homeless and have nowhere to go during Erie’s winter season
-
helping those in a housing crisis quickly find a home and wrapping them with supportive services to keep them there
-
offering low-income permanent housing units to formerly homeless families, youth and others.
-
a thrift store providing financial support to EUMA programs and offering free clothing and household items to homeless individuals and those in need through a voucher assistance program
-
offering a bridge from foster care to independent living for youth
