Christmas at The Refuge - Gift Giving Guide

Christmas at The Refuge - Gift Giving Guide

The holidays are a busy time of year for everyone . . . especially for our emergency shelter that
houses up to 9 families every day, as well as provides supportive services to an additional
33 families and 24 single men through the Rapid Re-Housing Program. In an effort to keep
Christmas equitable for all of our clients, manageable for our staff and to be good stewards
of God's provisions, please refer to this year's gift giving guide.

This holiday season, we advise our supporters to consider helping our families by purchasing
gifts in one of the following categories. (Your unwrapped donations can be dropped off at
The Refuge, 1027 E. 26th St., Monday - Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)

to get what they need.

Bus Passes
Transportation is a big issue for those struggling with homelessness and poverty. Bus passes provide greater access to healthcare, job opportunities and more.  Purchase passes to donate or designate your financial gift to help provide bus access to our families. (For more information on rates and where to purchase passes, visit EMTA at https://www.ride-the-e.com/fares-2/.)
